Someone has experiences with this email provider? I know some people that use it and they are very happy with it. Do they use free software? Is it secure?
I see it's listed on Privacy-Conscious Email Services.

I used them for years. I didn't like that their servers were hosted in the USA and liked things even less once they were bought by Opera (the browser folks).
I have absolutely zero indication of wrong doing. But I prefer my e-mail server to be off of US soil these days.
That said when I was using them I really liked them.. Rock solid. No problems, good support.

A contact pointed me to this: FastMail’s servers are in the US: what this means for you. Although servers are in US, the company is Australian, so it's not so easy to require data.
