Finally I deleted my Facebook account. Shutting down search opt-out is definitely enough. As a reaction of Edward Snowdens leaks I deactivated my profile month ago.
Graph Search seems to be the optimal syping feature while privacy is build on »shifting sands« as Casey Jonston put it metaphorically her article on Ars .

Ordered antique books and collections of historical documents for my study of sources, which will be part of my thesis for almost 100 € (134,0195 $, 136,8178 C$). I tried to postponed this orders, because these books are not available in any German national, federal or local library. So I had to sallow this (financial) bitter pill (for me as a student). -

Twitter API Chances killed Hotot Linux Client.
Hotot Team recommends switching to Hotot Chrome Client.
Gwibbers authentifiation does not seem to work either.
I tried Birdie, which works. Unfortuatly Birdie is very unstable right now an crashes very often on my Ubuntu 12.04. (It's made for Elementary OS, so maybe this is why.)
Tweetnest seems to be broken as well. -
